Amicable staff, breakfasts were good.

All in all, it was handy base for travelling to Sucre. Bed was comfortable and the room was well laid out. The hotel was in an incredible location, near main attractions. Moreover, it was right by the main centre. No complains at all, liked this place and 100% recommend.

We enjoyed our stay for 2 nights, the staff were friendly, and our spacious twin room with a balcony offered a lovely view.

We had a good breakfast, greatly enjoyed the meal with instant coffee and beverages and fresh juices. The staff were especially helpful and very friendly and offered guidance.

The location of this place is stunning, being close to all the main sights in the city including the historical center and central Plaza, as well as being convenient for dining options at nearby La Taverne.

Despite a few shortcomings, my stay at Hostal Recoleta Sur was generally pleasant. The location of the hotel was excellent, centrally located and within easy walking distance of major attractions. the staff at the reception were helpful and responsive to my concerns.

Although breakfast was advertised to end at 10am, I was refused food at 9.30am, as the kitchen staff claimed there was no more food left. I found this to be unacceptable, especially considering that I had arrived well within the breakfast hours.

I had a great stay in a twin room that was good value for the money.

The value for money at Hostal Recoleta Sur was great, with a beautiful and well-preserved colonial building. The central location was perfect, just a block away from the central market and easily accessible by trufis. The staff was helpful and accommodating, even allowing us to check in early.

On our recent trip, we had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious 4-star hotel in the heart of the historical center. The location couldn't have been better, with the central market just a block away and easy access to public transportation. The hotel itself is a stunning example of colonial architecture, beautifully preserved over a century. The staff here were friendly and helpful, accommodating our early check-in request and providing us with all the information we needed to explore the city.
